Ray Allen is now known for hitting maybe the clutchest shot in NBA history, when he knocked down a contested three pointer with just 5.2 seconds left against the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals. The three point shot tied the game and allowed the Miami Heat to win in overtime and eventually win the series. This was one of Allen’s two championships as he won another with the Boston Celtics. Allen’s 2,973 three pointers are the most by any player in NBA history and he is regarded as one of the best pure shooters to ever play the game.
