8. Philadelphia 76ers trade Charles Barkley to the Suns

Charles Barkley established himself as an All-Star with the Philadelphia 76ers at the start of his career. Then, Barkley was moved to the Phoenix Suns in trade, as the Sixers thought they got the best years out of Barkley.

They were absolutely wrong, as Barkley led the Suns to an NBA-best 62-20 record in his first year in Phoenix and was named the league MVP.
