Stephen Curry Wanted To Be Drafted By New York Knicks

Per Stephen Curry:

“When I got drafted, I wanted to go to New York. I thought I was going to New York. I was in the Green Room like ‘oh get to the eight spot’ so New York could get me. Then I got the call from Larry Riley [GM of the Warriors] (who said) ‘Okay, we’re going to pick you in the seventh spot'”

Fortunately, for Curry’s career, he did not go to the Knicks as they cannot seem to figure out what’s going on for their organization. Meanwhile, Curry is definitely going to retire a six-time All-Star and three-time NBA champion.
