The is a huge blow for the Saints, who are short in the receiving corp due to injuries, as well as Bryant, who has waited until mid-season to sign after being released by the Cowboys in April.
Testing on Saints’ WR Dez Bryant’s Achilles is considered “a formality”, per source. Doctors believe it is torn. Injury expected to sideline him eight months, putting him on track to potentially be ready for training camp.
