RUMOR: Mike McCarthy Slept At Jerry Jones’ House To Seal The Deal

The Cowboys have not won or even reached a Super Bowl since the 1995 season and with Garrett’s inability to get them past the divisional round of the NFC playoffs, it was time to move on.

McCarthy’s tenure in Green Bay did not end in a fashionable way as the Packers missed the playoffs in consecutive seasons, but he has a winning resume and a history of getting the most out of elite offensive talent, which the Cowboys possess in spades.

The Cowboys’ move to go through with the termination of Jason Garrett is one of the best decisions the franchise has made in years.

Maybe now that they have a new head coach in McCarthy, they can actually start winning again. Even if they don’t, it can’t be worse than being under Garrett.
