RUMOR: Indianapolis Colts To Target Philip Rivers In Free Agency

Rivers is 38 years old, but suggested that he may not retire in the offseason on Sunday. However, he did say that he is pondering the idea of playing for a different franchise if the Chargers were to look elsewhere for a passer.

In that case, the Colts are a natural fit for Rivers.

In the 2014-15 season, Colts head coach Frank Reich served as Rivers’ offensive coordinator. Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni was the quarterback’s coach. With this being said, Rivers has some familiarities with the Colts’ coaching staff.
