Rissa’s Expert Picks (Feb 25th)

An analysis of my favorite daily sports betting picks. It’ll be a mix of spreads, over/under, money line, and props bets varying from sport to sport.

My favorites picks tonight are the late NBA and CBB games. Let’s get it!

BOS @ POR +7.5 (10pm EST)

O/U 223.5

The Boston Celtics are traveling into town to take on the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. Both teams will be without their key guards, Damian Lillard and Kemba Walker. The only difference is Boston still has more key players to rely on whereas Lillard is the main cog in this Portland offense. The Celtics are 13-5 ATS in Portland in their last 18 meetings and have won 12 of their last 15 games. Meanwhile, Portland has been struggling heavily in Lillard’s absence. Boston is hot right now and I see them coming out with a win and covering this spread.
My Pick: BOS -7.5

NO @ LAL -7.5 (10PM EST)

O/U 239.5

Another great late night NBA game but this one will be nationally televised with the LA Lakers hosting the Pelicans for the third matchup this season. The Lakers have won all three meetings but none starred the rookie sensation, Zion Williamson. Since his return from injury, the Pelicans have gone 8-5 and only 3 games back from the 8th seed in the Western Conference. They are 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 road games and some of these Pelicans should be extra motivated playing against their former team. This looks to be a good one and it’ll be a tough game for the Pelicans to win, but I think they can keep it close and cover.
My Pick: NO +7.5

NC State @ UNC -2 (9PM EST)

O/U 148.5

We got an ACC showdown for tonight’s CBB Pick. NC State visits a struggling UNC team. NC State is 8-8 in the conference and UNC is way at the bottom with a 3-13 record. The Tar Heels have lost 7 straight games yet are somehow favored in this game. The NC State Wolfpack’s will be looking to get revenge in this game and are coming off a win versus Duke last week and held their own against FSU as well. Head to head, the road team is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings. The Tar Heels are 5-16 ATS at home this season. I’m taking the team playing better basketball in this rivalry game.
My Pick: NC State +2
