Rissa’s Expert Picks (Feb 14th)

An analysis of my favorite daily sports betting picks. It’ll be a mix of spreads, over/under, money line, and props bets varying from sport to sport.

Tonight is interesting for sports as we don’t have any official NBA team games because it is the beginning of All Star Weekend. I decided to get in on some of that action with the Rising Stars Game. Stay tuned for more All Star Weekend picks and prop bets throughout! Also threw in some NCAA action as March Madness is soon approaching!

Rider @ Siena -5.0 (9pm EST)

O/U 147.5

Both these NCAA teams look to be continuing their hot streaks of wins. The Rider Broncs have won five of their last six games while the Siena Saints have won four of their last five games. The Saints being at home is a huge advantage as they have yet to lose at home. In their last 10 meetings, the home team is 7-3 ATS. The Broncs come into this game playing great basketball but they are 1-5 ATS on the road this season. The Siena Saints have won at home by an average of 11 points this season and with that I say take the points.

My Pick: Siena -5

Davidson @ St. Bona. -4.0 (7pm EST)

O/U 130

The Davidson Wildcats enter this game 12-11 and went 2-2 in their last 4 games. The St. Bonaventure Bonnies head into this game with a five game winning streak and total their record to 17-8. They are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 home games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. Meanwhile, the Wildcats are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games. Davidson has been playing better as of late but I like the Bonnies in this game.

My Pick: St. Bona. -4

All Star Rising Stars Game

World vs USA -3.0 (9pm EST)

O/U 299.5

Now we get to the fun stuff with All Star Weekend being hosted in Chicago this year. To start off this weekend, we have the 2020 Rising Stars Game. Team USA is favored by 3 points which seems a bit low when looking at both rosters. Team World will be without Phoenix Suns’ Deandre Ayton and will have Luka Doncic leading the charge. He seems to be the best player amongst both rosters but once you look at the rest of Team World, the talent drops off dramatically compared to Team USA. He might also play limited minutes after returning to NBA action recently from an ankle injury and he will also be participating in his first All-Star Game on Sunday. With all the question marks surrounding Team World, I will take Team USA to win convincingly.

My Pick: Team USA -3

Prop Bet: Zion Williamson MVP +250
