LeBron was on another level… which is remarkable when he has been in a league of his own most of his career.

James was at the peak of his efficiency, averaging about 27ppg on nearly 58% field goals with 64% true shooting. One vote to Carmelo Anthony kept the King from becoming the first unanimous MVP in league history. Sharing the wealth with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh didn’t stop LeBron from putting up hall of fame numbers.

After a 66-win regular season, the Heat faced the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals. Down 3-2 and facing elimination at home for the second time during the Big 3 era, LeBron turned up the Heat and torched the Spurs down the stretch in the last 2 games of the series. After losing his trademark headband in the 2nd half of game 6, LeBron went on a scoring spree, finishing the game with 32 points and outscoring the Spurs by 13 in the 4th quarter and OT after Ray Allen’s liberating Hail-Mary 3 to save the series.

LeBron then put up 37 points of 52% shooting in game 7 to put the Spurs to rest and earn his second ring and Finals MVP.
