Portland TrailBlazers: Carmelo Anthony Has Signed A Contract

Former scoring champion, Carmelo Anthony, has struggled to find a team willing to give him a contract, and it now looks like the Portland Trailblazers are willing to take a chance.

With two lethal offensive threats in Damian Lillard, and CJ McCollum, the Trailblazers have decided to add one more weapon in Carmelo Anthony.

After Anthony has struggled to find a team willing to give him a contract, the Trailblazers were the team to take a leap of faith. Anthony previously went on First Take this season after people thought he was going to retire, but he said he still has plenty of fuel left in the tank.

According to league sources, ESPN reported that Anthony will sign a one-year contract for $2.4 million. That contract also seems to be non-guaranteed, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Trailblazers are wasting no time, as Woj also reported that Anthony will be joining them on their upcoming road trip.

Anthony will certainly be a huge contributor for this team, and has spoken that he is willing to play whatever role the team needs.
