Police Carry Off Animal Protestor During National Championship Game
Monday night’s National Championship game between Clemson and Alabama got off to a rather odd start. During the opening drive, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw a pick-six and shortly after the PAT attempt, an apparent animal protestor ran on the field with a sign.
Reporters at the game noted that it took security a while to notice before carrying the woman off the field.
A woman carrying a sign, presumably a protestor, got onto the Levi’s Stadium field after the PAT. Security seemed to take a moment to realize what was happening, but then quickly dragged her off.

Eventually, a police officer and several security personnel responded and literally carried the protestor to the tunnel.

Photos showed that she was carrying a sign or banner that said “Right to Rescue.”
