Patriots Caught Filming Bengals’ Sideline

The Patriots and David Mondillo have released statements.

A lengthy statement was released Sunday by David Mondillo, a supervising producer of Kraft Sports and Entertainment. In the statement, he said, “I had no intention to provide footage to football operations, I did not provide any footage, and I was never asked to do so.” He also provided details as to what happened in the press box, saying the crew “cooperated fully” with Bengals’ staff.

This isn’t the first time the Patriots have been caught illegally filming other teams. In 2007, they were caught using video of the New York Jets to steal signals. The Patriots were fined $250,000 as well as losing a first-round draft pick. They could be facing the same consequences this time as well.
