Oklahoma Sooners: Multiple Players Suspended After Testing Positive For Marijuana

According to Ikard, Oklahoma is appealing the suspension.

Here is what the NCAA appeal’s process states:

“If the (player’s) next competition is imminent and if the institution so requests, (they) shall make a reasonable effort to hear the appeal before the student-athlete’s next contest or within 48 hours of the institution’s … appeal.”

Oklahoma and LSU will be playing in the College Football Playoffs at the Peach Bowl in Atlanta on December 28th. We will see then if the appeal process worked and if the students are eligible to play.
