NIU Coach Fooled With A Quarterback from NCAA Football 14

One fan of the game created a quarterback named Patrick Flowers, or as known as “Speedy” Flowers. According to Flowers’ Twitter bio, he is in the ESPNU top 150 and a four-star recruit on 24/7. Flowers is quite the football player — even though he doesn’t actually exist.

Flowers managed to get an offer from Northern Illinois in the video game, and the man behind the Twitter account decided to have a little fun with it and message NIU’s coach, Thomas Hammock.

The funny thing is that Hammock actually responded to Flowers’ DM, but it seems that he missed the fact Flowers’ profile picture was a little off.
