Nick Young Speaks On Declining Television Ratings

Some of the top basketball networks are steadily dropping from last season. TNT ratings are down by 23%. ESPN ratings are down by 20%. Regional Sports Network ratings are down by 13%.

While television is becoming a lesser important medium more and more due to social media, the league is looking for other reasons of why the ratings are decreasing.

Young weighed in on the situation by taking to Twitter. The former NBA player sees a direct correlation between the ratings and several veteran fan favorites, who remain unsigned two months into the season.
