The AFC title game features another matchup of quarterbacks that football fans have been salivating over, just not as long as the Brady-Rodgers matchup.

This season, Josh Allen has emerged as one of the best QB’s in the league. The third year QB has had an unbelievable year, leading the Bills to the second seed in the AFC. Now, they will head to Kansas City to battle against the top seeded Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. Well, that is if he’s healthy to play.

Mahomes suffered an injury last week against the Cleveland Browns. He took a weird looking shot in the second half that forced him to sit out the rest of the game.

Even though the Chiefs squeaked out the victory over the Browns with Chad Henne behind center, they’ll need Mahomes back if they want any shot at beating the Bills.

Kansas City and Buffalo are very similar teams. Both teams have great offenses that feature two of the best QB’s in the NFL. Both teams have solid defenses that can get stops when needed, and both teams have great coaching staffs. Andy Reid and Scott McDermott are a couple of the best head coaches in the league.

This game will come down to the Bills offense. Field goals aren’t going to cut it against a Chiefs team that score at will. Remember when they came back from a 24 point deficit against the Texans in the playoffs last season? Yeah, quite unstoppable, that is as long as Mahomes is back behind center.

If anything this game will be entertaining as hell, with storylines for days.

On one side is the next NFL dynasty in the making. This AFC Title game makes it three straight for Mahomes and Andy Reid, and that’s three straight at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs are trying to win back to back Super Bowls for the first since the New England Patriots back in 2003-04, according to ESPN.

On the other side is the Buffalo Bills who have one of the most tortured fan bases in all of professional sports. The Bills are looking to make their first Super Bowl since 1994, and trying to win it all for the first time in their franchise’s history.
