The Story Of How Michael Jordan Scored 103 Points In One Day

During the 1986-87 season, Jordan had one of the most prolific scoring seasons in NBA history. He became the only player other than Wilt Chamberlain to score 3,000 points in a season.

During that season, Jordan averaged a league-high 37.1 points per game on 48.2 percent shooting. In addition, Jordan was a monster on defense.

To go along with his lethal scoring, Jordan became the very first player in NBA history to record 200 steals and 100 blocks in a single season.
