Miami Marlins Designate Chen for Assignment

The Miami Marlins have officially rid themselves of Wei-Yin Chen.

On Wednesday, it was announced the team designated the veteran pitcher for assignment. The Marlins still have six days to decide whether to send him to a minor league affiliate, release, or trade him, but he will definitely never wear a Marlins jersey again.
