Lou Williams Bought McDonald’s For A Guy Trying To Rob Him

This situation took place on Christmas Eve of 2011. This could, perhaps, be the most modern Christmas story for an NBA player.

Williams was almost robbed by a guy, then decided to offer him McDonald’s. Maybe the guy was just hungry, but since he was a Lou Williams fan, it must have been pretty cool to have lunch with him.

Maybe Williams should pursue a career in hostage negotiation when his basketball career is over. However, that won’t be anytime soon.

Williams is currently averaging 21.7 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, and 6.2 assists per game. He is the Los Angeles Clippers’ third leading scorer, behind Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
