Lonza Ball Talks About His Breakup With Denise Garcia
Lonzo Ball and Denise Garcia welcomed the birth of their daughter, Zoey, back in July. But since then, it had been a tumultuous time in Lonzo’s relationship life.
Rumors had circulated for months about the status of Lonzo’s relationship with Garcia. In October, she called out Lonzo in an Instagram Live video and implied that the Lakers guard was a “deadbeat.” The Season 3 finale of Ball in the Family all-but-confirmed their breakup.
The reality show returned Sunday for its fourth season, and the premiere episode was all about their breakup. Ball said that Denise and him were no longer together, and that they would focus on co-parenting their daughter.
“As of today, me and Denise are not together. It’s just one of those things that happened. I’ll always have love for Denise. She’s the mother of my child. She’s always cool with me no matter what. Main priority is Zoey. Basically, I’m gonna see Zoey whenever I can, so as long as she’s taken care of, she has both parents in her life. That’s all that matters.”
