LeBron James Shows High Praise For Markelle Fultz After Big Game

While seeing Fultz excel and succeed is fun for the fans and all, it raises questions on the Lakers’ end as they had no answer for him down the stretch. Alex Caruso missed the rest of the game after taking an elbow to the face in the first quarter, which meant that head coach Frank Vogel was forced to use smaller guards to match-up against Fultz.

This could have just been a blip for the Lakers, but it does come as a sign that they may need a more sizable wing defender to help with perimeter players in late-game situations. It should also be noted that the Lakers are still without Anthony Davis for the time being due to his sacral contusion injury.

As a Lakers fan, I am hopeful the Lakers will bounce back when they start their road trip on Saturday against the Houston Rockets.
