Larry Bird: Left-Handed Game

On Valentine’s Day in 1986, the Boston Celtics came into Portland — looking to show no love. The Celtics had won 14 of their last 15 games, despite Kevin McHale being injured for 9 of those games.

At one point, the game became too easy, and quite boring for Bird. He decided to challenge himself by finishing every basket (other than a jumpshot) with his left hand.

Bird ended up scoring 20 points with the left-hand, nearly half his total for the entire game.
