Lakers Teammates Make Handshake After Being Randomly Drug Tested
Alex Caruso and Danny Green were both randomly drug tested by the NBA this year. The two decided to poke some fun at their tests with a handshake.
The NBA gave Caruso a drug test during the offseason. The reason? Pictures of the Lakers’ star working out went viral. However, the pictures were photoshopped and not really real. No matter how fake the pictures were, Caruso still had to do a drug test before the start of the season.
And the reason for Danny Green’s random drug test? Green dunked over almost every player on the Atlanta Hawks. He had everyone in shock as he isn’t known for dunking. However, the NBA felt this was reason enough to drug test him the very next day.
During a recent appearance on Spectrum SportsNet’s “Inside the Green Room”, the pair talked about the special handshake they created after their random drug tests. It seems the tests gave them something to bond over and is now a joke between them.
