Lakers & Clippers Players Feel Uncomfortable Returning To Basketball

According to Matt Barnes, there are Lakers and Clippers players that feel uncomfortable playing until the current racial injustices and tensions are resolved.

Our athletes have been at the forefront fighting for positive change. Many NBA players including Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard, Karl-Anthony Towns, Demar DeRozan, Jaylen Brown, Malcolm Brogdon, and more have led the charge during recent peaceful protests.

While the players that expressed their hesitation to resume NBA basketball remain anonymous, we know that these individuals play for top contenders in the league. These players are making a statement that they are willing to sacrifice their (high) chances at winning a title to continue fighting the good fight. Furthermore, we don’t know exactly how many players on each of these teams feel reluctant to restart the season.
