Lakers Center DeMarcus Cousins Suffered A Torn ACL

Newly signed Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins may never suit up in the purple and gold, as it was announced he had suffered a knee injury on Thursday. Shortly after, Shams Charania of The Athletic confirmed the worst fears, reporting Cousins had torn his ACL.

This marks the third major injury for Cousins in the past year and a half. In January 2018, while with the Pelicans, Boogie ruptured his Achilles, halting any chances of him receiving a max contract. Last season with the Warriors, Cousins suffered a quad injury during the first round of the playoffs, keeping him out until the Finals.
