Jimmy Butler Claims Not Everyone In Philadelphia Had Common Goal Of A Championship

Butler played a total of 55 games last season with Sixers after being traded by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

During his playoff run, the Sixers fans gave Butler multiple standing ovations. However, since signing with Miami, those same fans did not give him the same amount of appreciation in his return to Philadelphia — in other words, they booed him.

Butler signed a four-year contract with Miami, worth $140.8 million in the sign-and-trade deal as the Sixers acquired Josh Richardson from the Heat.

Multiple reports stated that the Sixers did not offer Butler a 5 year max contract in free agency, which could be why he left.
