Jerry Rice Critical Of Super Bowl Refs: “It Was Devastating”

Rice was not happy with the way things turned out during the Super Bowl as the Kansas City Chiefs were down by 10 in the fourth quarter, then went on to score 21 unanswered points to win the game 31-20.

Of course, like any NFL game, there was some officiating controversy.

On Wednesday, Rice went on a radio station to criticize the referees on the offensive pass interference call against 49ers tight end George Kittle right before halftime. It was a play that could have given the 49ers a lead going into the second half, but instead, both teams had to settle with a tie of 10-10.
