Jerry Jones Said Colin Kaepernick Workout Was ‘A Circus’

“There’s a lot of things. You look at the future. You look way ahead when you look at backup quarterback. You look at what you’re paying for those backup quarterbacks. You’re looking for whether you can have backup quarterbacks that don’t have to be active, which means you can keep them over on the practice squad, or bring them up. You get a quarterback that sometimes you try to get them to the practice squad another team will pick them up. That doesn’t give you a good backup situation. Lot of things go into looking at that position, certainly there’s a lot of intellectual consideration relative to what a quarterback has to do and what he has to be to be a quarterback in a football game. We’re very fortunate right now our quarterbacking is real good.”
