Isaiah Thomas Has Simple Reaction To Two-Game Suspension

Thomas now has to serve a two-game suspension for defending himself from fans who were out of line in the first place. Although entering the stands is what got him suspended, he is quite lucky he only got two games.

His reaction is still a fair one after hearing what those fans called out to him during his game Saturday night against Philadelphia. Thomas may just be wondering why players have to take verbal abuse from fans, and when does the line become crossed for a player to have to take action.

Regardless, the fans were ejected as well as Thomas. However, if Thomas would have left well-enough alone, he could have talked to his security team and had them ejected without risking his own ejection and suspension. It’s clear he just wanted to make a point to those fans.

The Washington Wizards still have two games left on their road trip, and will be without Thomas for both of those games. The Wizards are currently 8-20, and ranked number 12 in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.
