How Ryan Razooky Led Mark Ogden To An NBA Contract

According to Ryan, Mark Ogden was already a natural athlete and a sound basketball player when it came to most things, but Ryan Razooky needed to sharpen up his skills.

Ryan Razooky said “being able to make plays out of the Pick n Roll or pop. Shoot the long ball and stay efficient on the wing” allowed Mark Ogden to take the next step forward in his basketball career. Coach Ryan also worked with Ogden on improving his ballhandling, low/mid/high post, “and of course”, stretching out to the 3.

Razooky also commented on the importance of preparing your body for the game in addition to your skillset:

“I have a blueprint of skills that every hooper needs to be successful. Most of which involves footwork and body positioning. Understanding angles / drives.”

Ryan Razooky then spoke more about Ogden’s journey and their time together.

“His goal was simply to get better everday and improve at the college level, but he had a goal to play in the NBA. Still in the works.”

Mark Ogden is now a member of the Atlanta Hawks G team and will continue to work to make the NBA lineup.
