Hong-Kong Protestors Burn LeBron’s Jersey

The Hong Kong protestors took offense to LeBron James saying there can be negative consequences that goes along with free speech, a right the protestors are fighting for.

A crowd of roughly 200 protestors gathered to chant in support of Rockets GM Daryl Morey, who supports the protestors cause, but angered Chinese authorities once be became vocal about his beliefs.

James Lo, a web designer that runs a Hong Kong basketball fan page on Facebook said:

“Students, they come out like every weekend. They’ve got tear-gassed and then they got gun-shot, like every weekend. Police beating students and then innocent people, like every day. And then (James) just comes up with something (like) that. We just can’t accept that,”
