Golden State Warriors: The Dynasty is Dead

It may come as no surprise to Warriors fans that after losing Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets, and losing Klay Thompson due to injury, that this could be the first time in five years that the Warriors are no longer the favorites to win the Larry O’ Brien trophy in June.

First, the Los Angeles Clippers denied the Warriors to open up their first home game at the Chase Center with a win as Kawhi Leonard led the way with 21 points, 9 assists, and 5 rebounds and defeated the Warriors 141-122.

Next, the Warriors faced the Oklahoma City Thunder, and it was a game that none of us seen coming from the three-time champions. The Warriors suffered their second loss of the season, being defeated by 28 points as the final score totaled at 120-92. Warriors’ forward Draymond Green had a few words to say following their loss to the Thunder.
