Georgia Loses On Technical Foul After Fan Threw Stuffed Animal On Court

The Georgia basketball team lost in one of the worst possible ways on Wednesday night to Mississippi State. Tied at 67 with less than 10 seconds left, the Bulldogs had the ball for the last shot. Quinndary Weatherspoon drove to the basket and got a foul called with .5 seconds left.

After missing the first free throw, a fan threw a stuffed animal on the court, which resulted in a technical foul.

With 0.5 seconds to play in a tie game, a fan tossed a stuffed animal onto the court in Georgia.

Witherspoon would hit the technical free throw, and miss the last free throw on purpose to seal the win for the Bulldogs.
