Dwight Howard Reveals Key Ingredient To Bounce-Back Season

Although Noah made a lot of sense for this tough roster, especially with Howard’s spotted history with the Lakers, the team went in a quite unexpected direction to sign again the NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

The move was a low-risk, high-reward situation with the veteran center signing a deal that was non-guaranteed. The consensus seemed to be that it would not pan out and he would be waived at some point, but things have turned around dramatically as Howard as resurrected his career where it was once derailed.

Howard continued by mentioning how grateful he is for his second chance with the team and his current teammates.

ā€œIā€™m just thankful and grateful. Every time I step out on the court, I just want to give this team 135 percent. I want to get every rebound. I want to block every shot. I want to make sure I get all my guys open and just bring the energy every single night. I just want to keep that up and take advantage of every moment that I have to play this game.ā€
