Dunk League Volume 3: Recreating BEST NBA Dunks EVER

On last week’s episode of Dunk League, we got to see what some of the most creative dunk artists in the world could do when dunking on a nine-foot rim.

In “High Flying at 9” we got to see how flashy they can get when showcasing their athleticism on a nine-foot rim, as they each received five attempts to flush home dunks that would be impossible on a regulation-size hoop.

Jonathan Clark and Tyler Currie ended up splitting the $5,000 winnings for that competition, with both dunkers receiving a perfect score of 30 by the judges. Unfortunately for Currie, his cumulative score from the first three weeks of the competition still left him vulnerable to be eliminated in a dunk-off alongside Dan Gross and Anthony Hamilton Jr.

Gross ended up winning the dunk-off, sending both Currie and Hamilton packing and narrowing the field down to a final six.

“TWIST ON A CLASSIC”

This week’s competition is a celebration of some of the greatest dunks in the history of the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, as each dunker attempts to put their own spin on some of the most memorable dunks of all-time.

Three-time NBA Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson is a special guest for this week’s Dunk League, bringing his high-flying expertise to these contestants.

Robinson is not only helping the dunkers put together their dunks, but he is also joining the judges table to decide who deserves this week’s prize of $5,000.

Each week, scores accumulate for these dunkers, as they all look to be the last man standing and earn the grand prize of $20,000.

The three dunkers with the lowest cumulative score at the end of this competition will once again enter a dunk-off to see who can survive and advance to next week.

Here is how the leaderboard looked heading into Week 4 of the Dunk League:
