Drazen Petrovic Once Scored 112 Points In A Single Game

Petrovic built the path for many of the European players that we see in the game today. Unfortunately, Petrovic suffered a tragic death at an early age.

Petrovic’s life and career were cut short after he died in a car accident at 28 years of age. Petrovic was killed instantly when the car in which he was riding slammed into a trailer truck on a rain-slick road in Germany, the New York Times reports.

Petrovic was idolized by many European kids and players, especially in his own country. The shooting guard had one of the best scoring games that basketball has ever witnessed, finishing with 112 points.
