Doc Rivers Said Austin Would Have Went To Florida If Head Coach Billy Donovan Would Have Paid More

Doc has recently came out, and said that Austin would have chosen a different college from the one he played at, simply if they paid more.

Yeah, but Billy is a good coach. He’s been a good coach and he’s never forgotten how to coach. I think we get so tied up into records and all that, and we should as well, you have to earn it each year I guess, but Billy has never forgotten how to coach. He’s an excellent coach.

And if he had paid more, Austin would’ve went to Florida.
