The NBA has fined Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers $50,000 for his appearance on ESPN Thursday when he commented on how Kawhi Leonard is the ‘most like Michael Jordan’.

While the comment in no way suggests that Rivers made an attempt to try and sway Leonard to sign with the Clippers in free agency, the NBA has heightened their sensitivity when it comes to tampering stemming from the Anthony Davis/Lakers saga this past season.
