Colin Kaepernick Spent His Birthday Feeding The Homeless

This isn’t even the first time Kaepernick has spent his birthday putting in work for the community and the people.

On Kaep’s birthday in 2016, he invited groups of Latino and Black children together to educate them on their civil rights and speak about social injustice. They were given tips on how to make it home safely from school or walking home from practice or a friend’s house.

Colin Kaepernick has not been on an NFL roster since 2016. Many are still in disbelief that Kaepernick has yet to receive an opportunity to return to the field. Jeff Nalley, one of Kaepernick’s representative commented on the situation:

“I have reached out to all 32 teams about Colin’s employment, with little to no response from teams about an opportunity for Colin… In 25 years, I have never seen anything like it.”

It’s widely believed that NFL owners are unwilling to offer Colin Kaepernick a contract because he continually kneeled during the national anthem before kick off in protest of social injustice.

Colin Kaepernick is now 32 and has spent 3 prime years of his football career unsigned.
