Colin Kaepernick Blasts USA For “Stolen Land” On Thanksgiving

“Spent the morning at the Indigenous People’s Sunrise Ceremony on the 50 year anniversary of the Occupation of Alcatraz,” Kaepernick wrote in a tweet that also had a video of him attending the event.

“The US government has stolen over 1.5 billion acres of land from Indigenous people. Thank you to my Indigenous family, I’m with you today and always.”

The event is intended to celebrate the 50th anniversary for the Native Americans discovering the famous island, which previously was the site of a infamous federal prison.

Kapernick was also at the event in 2017.
