Chris Paul Stands By His Bold James Harden Statement

Harden is averaging an incredible 37.9 points (league leader), 6 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game on 45% field goal shooting percentage.

Fans should not let his poor performance against the Thunder be evidence for him not being an amazing scorer. In fact, scoring 17 points on a terrible field goal percentage is quite impressive.

One reason that Harden did not put up the number of points he usually does is that he deferred to Russell Westbrook most of the time. Westbrook played his first 11 seasons for the Thunder before being traded to the Rockets, so it’s only right that the spotlight was on him for the game.

You can almost bet that Harden will definitely bounce back in their game today against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
