Boston Celtics Fan Arrested After Throwing Beer At Spurs Bench

The incident happened in the third quarter when Celtics’ guard Kemba Walker was ejected with back-to-back technical fouls. Walker was arguing a non-call of an offensive foul on Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge.

This was Walker’s first career ejection, including his high school and college days. The ejection was given to him by rookie referee Evan Scott.

Boston police identified the fan as Justin Arnold, 22, of Everett. He was charged with disturbing a public assembly.

Arnold was released on personal recognizance in the Celtics case but held on a probation violation for a 2018 charge of assault and battery on a police officer.
