Detroit Pistons: Blake Griffin Considering Season-Ending Knee Surgery

Griffin was an explosive leaper in college and during the first few years in the league, it’s something that won him the Slam Dunk Contest in 2011. This came after sitting out his rookie season with an injured kneecap, which he suffered in the final preseason game after landing from a dunk.

If Griffin does decide to go through with the season-ending surgery, it certainly is not to end the season only for him, but his team as well.

The Pistons have a record of 13-24 and are in fourth in the running for being last in the Eastern Conference. Their next game will come tomorrow against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
