One Sports Illustrated investigation revealed incidents of an alleged sexual assault and harassment against victims. One day after Brown allegedly sent threatening messages to one of the women, the Patriots cut him.

The NFL announced that it would investigate Brown under the personal conduct policy, an investigation that is still ongoing.
