Alonzo Mourning Once Blocked 27 Shots In A Single Game

During his time at Indian River High school in Virginia, he led the team to 51 straight victories, and a state title during his junior year.

As a senior in high school, Mourning averaged 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 blocks per game. The points and rebounds are not as impressive as the amount of blocks he recorded per game. When a high school player is able to record 10+ blocks per game, this is a simple showcase of their dominance on the floor.

The statistics he recorded his senior year led him to becoming player of the year by USA Today and Naismith.
