Nav has recently taken his acts of service to the next level.

He is reportedly working with World Vision Canada to build approximately 60 washrooms for 20 schools located in North India. According to The Globe and Mail, Nav said that this would allow “30,000 girls to continue their education because at present, 47 percent of schools in India have no toilets for girls.”

To no one’s surprise, Nav was chosen to be photographed with and meet President Obama during his trip to Canada. President Obama even recognized Nav from watching some Raptors games.

Nav has been on record saying Barrack Obama is one of his biggest inspirations, and his actions reflect the common beliefs they share.

After becoming a bona fide super-fan, Nav worked with the Raptors organization to promote multicultural nights for some of the home games to honor Vaisakhi and Diwali. Nav said there were maybe “30 to 40 South Asians” when he started attending games, now the arena is known as one of the melting pots of the league.
