The Broncos won a Super Bowl the last time they acquired an elite veteran QB (Peyton Manning), who’s to say they can’t do it again. The Broncos are a better team than their record indicates, a few close games going against their favor has put them at 6-8 in late December.

Aaron Rodger would have Demaryius Thomas and Emanuel Sanders to throw to and a first-class defense to back him up. Case Keenum has not met expectations this season; if the Broncos gained Rodgers, they are a lock for the playoffs.

The Packers would get a rookie safety after trading away Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and a collection of draft picks to aid the rebuilding process.
