Seahawks kicker Sebastian Janikowski has never been paid to make tackles, and we all got a reminder of that Sunday, when the 40-year-old didn’t want to risk any injury during a kick return.

In the first quarter against the 49ers, Richie James took off down the sideline and Janikowski became the last man who could stop him. Yet, the kicker made no effort.
