15 Things You Don’t Know About Kawhi Leonard

Growing up with 4 older sisters, Kawhi and his dad  became close as the only men in the house.

Kawhi used to help his dad out with work at a car wash he owned in Los Angeles. Leonard recalls these memories as some of his favorite because of the time he spent with his dad and the bonding moments they had.

On January 18^th, 2008, Kawhi endured a horrifying tragedy, he witnessed his father being shot and killed while working with him at his car wash. Kawhi was only 16 years old at the time.

Fast forward to June 15^th, 2014, Kawhi Leonard defeats the Miami Heat on Father’s Day to capture his 1^st Finals victory and his first Finals MVP.

To say his dad would be proud is an incredible understatement.
