Butler only lasted one full season with the Timberwolves before being shipped to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Dario Saric and Robert Covington. After playing with the 76ers for only 55 games, Jimmy Butler was traded to the Miami Heat for Josh Richardson where her eventually signed 4 year supermax contract.
